1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register, we store your name, email address, and an encrypted password hash (bcrypt). OAuth sign-in with Google or GitHub provides profile identifier metadata.
Link Telemetry: When visitors click short links, we collect non-personally identifiable telemetry including country, device type (Mobile/Desktop), browser user-agent, and timestamp.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Execute sub-25ms URL redirections and conditional routing (geo/device)
- Generate aggregate click analytics charts and heatmaps
- Detect and block phishing, spam, and malicious bot activity
- Authenticate your account session and manage workspace permissions
3. Cookies & Telemetry
We use essential session tokens to keep you signed in securely. We do not track users across third-party websites for behavioral advertising.
4. Third-Party Services & Integrations
We utilize reputable cloud infrastructure providers (e.g. Neon PostgreSQL, Redis, Cloudflare CDN) under strict data processing agreements.
5. Google Advertising (AdSense)
Google AdSense may serve ads to support free platform access. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
6. OAuth Sign-In (Google & GitHub)
When signing in via OAuth, we only request the basic profile and email scopes required to authenticate your identity. We never post on your behalf or access repository code.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
You may delete your short links or your entire account at any time directly in Settings. Deleting your account permanently purges your links, analytics, and uploaded QR assets from our primary database.
8. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to access, export, rectify, or erase your personal data. To exercise your rights, contact us at ankygaur9972@gmail.com.
9. Data Security & Encryption
All data in transit is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3. Passwords and sensitive secret keys are encrypted using salted bcrypt and AES-256-GCM algorithms.
